That's the spirit gfrench! Whatever it takes to keep on working on it! I work in my canopy every day, and lately it's been down in the 20's until midday. I found a forced air propane salamander heater 35,000 btu on CL recently for a paltry $60, and boy is that nice! It's designed to heat 1250 sq. ft., and I've only got a 10'x20' canopy. I can actually work in a shirt and coveralls, with no coat or gloves! Even have to turn it off every so often, as it gets too warm sometimes!

Steve don't fear the 1.94 valve. Those heads will make 400hp without breaking a sweat.

That is good to know. I have read alot of good about vortecs, but never really paid attention to which ones. I can't wait to get it. I am considering pulling it all apart though and starting fresh since it has been sitting for a couple years. I'd like to get some new tools to go along with it for building engines.

I sure can't tell you even a guess without some specs on cam, pistons, etc. to detemine what you have.

Well I am closer to making the deal on the 78. I just made him an offer for cash and a shotgun that I never really use, and he sounded really interested. We will see how it goes here soon.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. My wife bought me a nice space heater. I had it 45 to 50 degrees in the tent, it was 13 degrees out side.

That sounds familiar! I've been financing my car projects selling my antique gun collection accumulated over the last 30 yrs.! It's been a real asset whenever I needed another big money item!

The barter system is hard to beat. I'm trying to barter for all my paint stuff. I recently started stopping at a high volume collision center. One of probably 8-10 locations statewide. They do work for most dealerships and a couple of the bigger insurance companies. Well the GM has taken a huge liking to my steak and egg sandwiches and was bragging about them to a HOK rep that was at the shop Friday. He bought everyones breakfast and when he asked for the bill I said how about enough paint to cover a 72 Camaro. I was half joking but he said we could probably work something out so now I'm hoping to get this stuff for next to nothing.

This shotgun is nothing special just a Mossy 12G 500a model, but it goes BOOM and makes lots of holes in things. Good times and fun stuff.
