Default vauum question part 2

Here are the pics of my carb. There's a total of 4 vac fittings. Two up front, one on passenger side and one on the back. (black rubber caps) I beleive the only vacuum needs I have are for the distributor and the brake booster. Which ones should I use and which should I plug? Thanks.

The vacuum outlet on the rear will work for the brake booster.
The outlet on the side is a timed port for the vacuum advance on the distributor.

I could however check this out in better detail if you send your carb to:

Hey, I Need the Horsepower
P O Box 000

All carbs returned at the end of the following season.

JK, I am waiting for a new carb on mine. Wish I already had it!

Yeah, I'm running a similar setup pretty much with an edelbrock performer intake and a 750 dual feed 3310 Holley now. I've ran an Edelbrock 1405 600cfm on there too and that gave me a lot of access to the rear intake port. I have a one inch phenolic spacer under my carb which gives me more than enough clearance over my intake vacuum port to allow me to run a big metal vacuum brake from it with three connectors.

Is that an edelbrock air gap intake? Also, not sure if JRs72RS was clear with his "vacuum port on the side" comment but he's talking about the one on the metering block on the passenger side.

Yep...got that...think I'm squared away on the vacuum question. (Hope so anyway!)

It is an Edelbrock Air Gap intake...I was going to use a spacer but found out it wouldn't really do much for me and Ihave a clearance issue as it is. I had a 78 Z28 cowl induction hood on before I put the new motor in. I'm hoping I can still use it with a little modification.
