Default Question on 95 Z28-replacing a part?

On the back of the intake manifold their is a pipe that goes to the exhaust manifold. What is it and should I replace it or bypass it. Not looking to gain to much more horsepower just need to know what I should do with it.

Sounds like your EGR. It's supposed to help with emissions. You can delete it, but you'll get a Service Engine Soon light.

Not to mention that you aren't going to get any HP out of the deal because the EGR vavle is shut at WOT.

no its not the egr its and actual pipe, if you own a lt1 look right next to the egr thats what I need to replace or get rid off which is cheaper and proverably easier.

It's the EGR feed that goes to the EGR valve and then procedes to go to the intake. If you decide to delete it you will need to get block off plates for both the exhaust manifold as well as the back of the intake manifold.
