Ok I am ready to get a cat back, my car is stock with the exception of lid and a K&N filter, so any recommendations for $400 or less? Not including shipping btw I have an 01 Z28 m6 and I want it to be as loud as possible with just a catback

 

magnaflow hands down. performance and sound

borla is too raspy, andflowmasters, although loud are more restrictive than some stock setups.

 

omg ppple how many times do i have to say this slp loudmouth exhaust on ebay 377.90 shipped tour door best bang for ur buck an one of the best sound qualities for the money wouldnt buy any other exhaust except borla but that may be a lil more then 400 bucks so idk

I went Magnaflow and love it, but I'm not familiar with the SLP catback. IMOI don't think you would be disappointed with Mag.

If you want loud...go with the SLP loud mouth. Personally I like the Flowmaster. Flowmaster with longtube headers sounds great.
