torque converter bolt

Default torque converter bolt

is it ok if the bolts for the torque converter touch the converter. cause they are a tad on the long side. thanks - Jon

huh?

I really don't understand the question. of course the bolts are going to touch the converter, how else are you going to bolt it in?

whatever you are talking about, if they are a bit too long, just buy the right size bolts or grind down the ones you have. either way, make sure you are using the correct grade bolts and use Loctite

I think I follow what you're saying. The threaded end of the bolt is going upagainst the body of the converter? Those sure besome long bolts! It won't hurt it as long as they're just "touching"as you describe. If they aredrivinghard against the converter, I would get shorter ones, or grind these down.
