So I got the mini gear reduced starter and a heat shield for the solenoid. It started right up and worked fine all day even when hot. Today my kids asked if I could give them a ride to school. I dropped them off and stopped at walmart to pick up a 12 pack and some smokes. I go to restart it and it dose the same darn thing as before. I check to make sure the bolts are tight and then it starts. I pick up some new starter bolts and replace them in the autozone parking lot. Still skips and sounds like nails in a blender......
I'm not using any shims. Any help or other ideas??? I'm just getting frustrated ever time I try to mess with it.
