Default Need a little help - alternator mounting

I need a little help on where to find a new mounting bracket system for my alternator. I just picked up a nice set of ported camel hump heads that have no provision for the accessory mounting. My AC is Vintage Air and it came with compressor mounts that don't use head boss mounting locations. I've looked on Summit but can't find a mount for the alternator on the passenger side that is definitely made to mount an alternator without a threaded hole. Does anyone know of a mount and where I can get one? Thanks!

Better look at Summit again! They have a nice universal chrome mount that will mount it on either side. You'll need to buy both pieces, plus the adjusting bracket, but I just got it all and it was cheap for my 327 with same heads.
Here's the pieces: Around $25 for all three pieces.

Thanks Val, I checked those and if I had the short water pump they'd be perfect but I don't. I can't find one that will work with the long pump....yet. I should have stated that I had the long water pump. The search goes on.

Looks like I solved my own problem. I checked the March Performance catalog and found that they have an adapter bracket that lets you use one of their kits that use the hole in the head. A bit more expensive but then they make a good product. Thanks Val. Your post made me go back and look harder.

That's the one I found in the March catalog. It allows you to use the full kit that normally mounts to the head to mount the alternator. I'll be picking one up
