Default CB Mounting?

Okay so I'm trying to find a place to mount a CB Radio in my Camaro. I have a Cobra DX19 IV with a (Wilson)Little Wil Magnetic Antenna. I'm having trouble finding a spot to put it with minimal damage to the interior. Any ideas?

GOSH DARN FIBERGLASS BODY PARTS!!! RAWR. Okay so I bought a Wilson Lil Wil Magnetic Antenna which is an AWESOME Antenna which turns out to not stick to my car -_- The only places it sticks too are very annoying locations... DARNIT! Looks like I'll have to get a ball mount or a trunk mount. :/

there a little bigger than that... you could take it apart extend the female for the mic mount the radio under the seat and the female somewhere else

I was thinking about that, I was also thinking about under the ignition between the steering wheel and stereo. It's a Cobra DX19 IV, which I'll possibly be replacing with a Uniden 520XL Pro. So they're pretty small radios, so hopefully I can find a place to put one. Now I sadly have to worry about where I'm gonna mount a radio since the magnetic one didn't work.

Thanks

I have my headunit hooked up to a low profile antenna and use the massive stock antenna for my CB. If you had a 93-96 interior you'd be able to fit it easily into the tray at the end of the center console... I don't know much about 97+

Hide it in the glove box

If you don't mind me asking how did you hook up your antenna? I'm about to give up on the idea because I can't find a non-destructive way to mount an antenna.

There are adaptors to use the stock radio antenna to CB style connector. You will lose range compaired to a dedicated CB antenna. For mounting you could try using this radio.

https://www.cobra.com/detail/75-wx-s...aa-weather.cfm

This radio is all contained in the handset and there is a small unit that you can mount behind the dash or in the console. Then all you need to worry about is the antenna. JC whitney also offers an antenna that is both radio and CB at the same time and uses a universal body mount that should work with our bodies.

Default I got one in mine

I mounted a full size Cobra 29 just under the steering wheel. I'm a huge guy 6'2" 360 pounds and I have no problems.
