Default Help with starter

O K heres my problem. When its cold, and i go to start the car, my starter will spin but it wont engage the (actuator arm?) to the flywheel in order to turn it over. In order to get it to start i crank it a couple times, and I'ma assuming it heats up and drops resistance to the connection to the actuator arm and then lets it engage. It never happens when its warm outside. I have replaced the starter already, and actually dropped the starter and bench tested it, worked every time. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

sounds like a bad connection somewhere. good start would be to wire brush the heck outa the battery terminals and the battery wire connectors. then go to the power junction box (red plasic box on the pasenger side fenderwell) and clean the wire ends on the wires in there. then do the same for the ground junction that is close by grounded to the fenderwell. check to make sure the engine block is grounded to the frame and body by a ground strap.

I had been suspecting a ground, just didn't know where to start. I cleaned and replaced the bolts ont he fenderwell junction box and this has seemed to fix the problem for now. I will see tomorrow when I cold start it if it holds true.
