Shift Lever Removal?.......

I have no idea then. You could go the hardway and just drop the shifter out of the bottom. Lay carpet and cut the hole and put it back up. Don't disconnect the linkage, justg the shifter body.

Well I decided just to keep the shift lever on to put the carpet down. Even if I screw up a little the console will still cover up the mistakes. Thanks for all the help though.......

Ha I know, but I like to know how things work. If for some reason someones asks me how to remove the shift lever I will know.......
