Default Rochester carb question

Hi, I have a question regarding the Rochester carb and the part numbers. On my sons 77 (not stock engine, some work was done before we got it but that is another horror story for another time) we have a Quadrajet. I have been trying to do some research on the card and every thing I have found in regards to position 7 (the division) only goes up to the number 7, ours has an 8 in that position. Can some one please help. Here is the model number stamped on the carb. 17080282 with 3039 CWT under it. I know it is a federal emission Quardrajet built in 1980 for an automatic. I just cannot figure out the division.

Have you tried research via the parts vendors pages as the one below?

I have tried searching a lot of different vendors. Parts I can find, No place have I seen where it explains what the 8 is in the 7th location.
