Default Radio

Does anyone know if i can get the original 1973 radio design which can flip down and a 'in-dash' screen with a CD player can slot out? If so, are there any certain models anyone would recommend?

Thank you

Default RE: Radio

I do not know of anyone offering a radio like you mentioned. However, there is a place called S & M Electrotech in Blaine, Minnesota that puts new circuitry into old radios. They use Kenwood parts and the face looks just like original. They come with AM/FM, but the CD player has to be a remote changer(they use JVC). They also add jacks for Ipod. Total bill is around $500.

We have had them do some radios for customer's cars and they look and work great.
