Default Putting A price on your ride.

Ok, problem... Wife keeps giving me looks when I talk about spending more money on the Camaro. She wants to make sure that it will be worth what I am putting into it. So, how do you put a price on such a thing. As it sits, ( A Long Way From Being Done) I have about 12,000 into it, from looking things over today, and to call this a total restore, I am looking at another 12. So, my question is...How do you put a price on it.?

Sorry...It's a 68 SS, someday will be a Z-28 Clone, all outer sheet metal except the roof is being replaced, came with a 12 bolt 3.73 rear end (Keeping it for now) Total revamp of the interior, Corbeau buckets, Covan dash, new carpet, molding headliner, rear bench cover. Engine is a stroked 350, desktop dyno puts me @ 435 hp and 432 ft lbs of torque, Just got my trany. A Tremac TKO-600 5 Speed.

I keep telling her that what it's worth to others isn't the point, it's what it's worth to me...SHEESH...WOMEN...

You can have it apraised. Unfortunately a clone wont be worth the real thing. However, as the car sits it's worth what you have in it. If my '79 Z28 is gaining value just sittin there the so is your '68.

its worth what you are willing and can afford to spend, if you think it is worth the money and time thats all that matters. oh yea sounds like a nice car
