Thanks for the help. but i tried these sites and they show the under rear seat pans for 67-69 but not for anything else. I need the pan that goes under the right rear seat for a 79. Does anyone make them?

i bought some full length floor pans and they stopped at the rear seat, they didnt go under the rear seat.you might have to go to a salvage yard and cut that section out of another car if you cant find it .

i got mine from npd also.i got the full pans .they fit at the bottom of the front firewall(where your feet are when your sitting in the front seat) to the rear floorboard(where your heals would be if you where sitting in the backseat).they are easy to put in.i layed the new floorpan in position ,chalked a line all the way around, took it out and chalked another line about 1" below my first line and cut it out.the new pan fit right in and the 1" difference gave me plenty to weld to.use a air cutoff saw, dont use a torch,it will warp.

Yeah.. I am rebulding a 1978, and I have replaced both floor pans also. It's to bad Classic Industries dosen't offer the floor pan braces with the full floor pans. one mistake I made was this. On the driver side while I was weilding my old braces to the new floor pan, I had a couple of gaps in between the brace and the pan. I thought I would be cool and use a hammer to form the pan to the brace. Big mistake !!!! it caused the sheet metal to expand once I got to the passenger side I did it right and filled the gaps with flat metal strips from ACE Hardware and the contours are like the original.. Of course I flatend out the places in th pan where the hump is for the Catalietic Converter so I would have alot more leg room. I am 6'7 and about 285lbs and I am going to have to relocate my driver seat almost all the way back I also ran into the problem of rusted out rear seat pannels. I got lucky and only replaced the one behind the driver seat. the pass side was fine. I used a black steel dimond plated piece off of one of our old snapper zero turn lawn mowers to replace the whole section. funny how the drive shaft tunnel is almost alwase in tact after 30 years Never use anything but a Mig weilder with C25 Mixture. Alsom Brazing is a good idea also when it comes to weilding thin areas the mig can't handel.
