Default A/C versus non-A/C question

My 81 Camaro came with A/C. A previous owner removed part of the A/C system. My question is this. Can I buy the under dash and underhood parts from a non-A/C car and just bolt them in my car?

I think your saying u want to eliminate the A/C all together? If that's it I would think that it would not be a problem. A/C is an option and i dont think the cars were made any different W or W/O. If you have all the parts to switch they should all interchange. Sounds like alot of work!!

taking out AC is not hard at all, and buying parts for your car is not changed.

Yes I want to remove AC all together. I was told the firewalls were different but that didn't sound right to me. Thats whay I figured if I bought the parts from a non AC car it would work.
