Hi guys. Ken from Ontario here. I'm no mechanic so please prepare for loads of embarrassing questions from me in the next few years lol. I've got a red on red 81z28 with ttops and air conditioning. All stock. Runs and drives. Needs work especially paint etc. Small hole drivers side floor. Motor redone 8 years ago stock and never used since. Is my car at all rare with the red on red, 4spd, ttops, and ac? Also, I'd like to put it up on blocks and clean the junk off of the underside and make it all shiny and black again. I have no spray equipment I'm just a guy in his garage. How should I go about this and what products actually work/last?

 

Just start out to make it safe to drive first.The make a plan on what you want to do with the car.With the money and time you have. Remember its just a hobby. so take your time and enjoy it.
