Default New here and have a couple questions

I have a 96 camaro with the Y87 package. First, what do these car's normally run at for temp. Mine is usually about half way between a fourth and the bottom. Im thinking i might need a new thermostat, but not sure. If so what kind should i get, 180? Also how can i get to the foglights and parking lights? My one fog light is burnt out and so is my parking light. I've heard that the K@N air filters let in dirt into your engine. Is this true, or are they a good filter if im looking at a cold air intake. Thanks

i dont think a 70 dollar filter will let dirt into the eng. thermo should be at 180 or around stock that is.

Get a stock thermostat 180 deg I believe.
Fog lights: Unbolt and remove entire housing from impact bar behind the fascia, and repalce bulb. Helps if u have small hands and are double jointed.
Parking lights: unbolt housing from fascia, remove sockets from housing & change bulb.
Enjoy!

What should my temp gauge be running at? Mine sits half way between a fourth and the bottom. Thanks
