Default Need Help with Stall.

I want to get a stall but I am not sure how much of a stall I need. My specs:
Engine
-350 4 bolt main
-420 exhaust lift cam
-stock internals
-RPM performer intake
-750 cfm carb
-long tub headers

Transmission
-350 turbo
-B&M shift kit

Rear end
-stock
-2.73 gears thinking about changing them but I want to be able to drive on the highway...need your opinions here ,also.

well if you wanna drive alot on the highway i'd say stay with a 2000-2400 stall

and as far as the rear end goes..you can change to a lower gear like 3.55 or 3.73 but then it would be best to change your transmission to a 4 speed with OD to get any kind of good highway mileage

The engine's h.p. and torque rating, the car's weight, and your gearing all play a part in determining your target stall speed. Torque converters aren't a "one size fits all". The very same converter that stalls at one certain rpm in your car can stall at a totally different rpm if put in mine.
Your best bet is to call one or two of the manufacturers and talk to a knowledgeable tech rep. They would be able to determine which one will give you what you're after based on your setup and how you want it to respond. Anything short of that is just a best guess as to what you'll end up with.
Your engine specs are lacking some info too. You want to be as complete as possible with everything. For kicks, I plugged the known info into D.D., and had to fudge the rest based on conservative "guesses". That yielded a maximum of about 334 h.p. @ 5000 rpm and 374 lb of torque @ 4000 rpm. If you want to give more complete info, I can tighten up the results...if you're interested.
Just keep in mind that it's all just a close approximate, but a lot better than "I think it has this much".

As Camaro69 mentioned, there's no set stall speed, so no way to say what "most" are. Some folks get by with 2200, while others need 2800 or even 3000.

Pretty low. I believe around 1400 or so.
