Depends on who does it. Mine cost around $2,000, but I got bids from around $4,000-$8,500 before I found a great shop at a great price.

Maaco quoted me $1300. I may go that route.

Maaco quoted me $1900, but I wasn't comfortable with them. Just got a bad feeling talking to the owner and asking what type of prep they do (or don't do). I doubt for $1300 they'll strip or epoxy prime, and probably get a clear coat that's thin and may flake off again. If your clear is flaking now it needs to all come off and an epoxy sealer put on before base coat.
