sorry about late response. busy. i had thought about this for a year or so now. from all the sources i came up with. mostly online forums and some camaro sites, years that would work. 85 thru 93 s10 manual steering boxes, mine came out of a 91. installed fine. drove it some past few days, next trip to a garage. have a professional go over everything. be on the safe side. one more thing man. remember hearing about gm changing something past the late 70s . read that third gens had to change something to fit the s10 box, not 100 percent on it, but i heard that more than once, something about shaft diameter change, cant remember, sorry.

 

reason i changed my box to manual. i like simple. also power steerings for girlymen. lol joking. in the coming future i plan on a supercharger install on my car. probably guess what kind from my name. less belts. less worry.

 

Kinda figured it might have something to do with a performance change. The Weiand blower will really take things to the next level!

 

Me too, I am converting to manual steering. I do not have a power steering pump its been deleted and taken before I got car. I just want the proper ratio as in a manual box versus my power steering box then sell the power box as it is in good working order. with lines and other related crap with it.
