I know that. My question is if I keep the stock springs in the rear and change to the 2' lowering leaf springs will that help lower the rear end?

I'm still not sure what you are asking. You can't keep the stock springs AND change to the 2" lowering springs. It's either the stock springs OR the lowering springs.
As far as taking the stock springs out, and then replacing the with lowering springs; the lowering springs will most likely lower it a bit if you go with 2", but just how much depends on how saggy your stock springs are, and whether you go like for like. You can't go from a monoleaf to multileaf and get it lower. You can't go from a different number of leafs and get it to change.
The only sure fire way to get an exact amount of lower height is to keep the springs you have and use lowering blocks. A 2" block with longer U bolts will drop your rear axle that amount for sure, but I don't like lowering blocks personally, as they have other issues.

I think he was asking about 2" fronts with stock rear.
