Default Lowering My Camaro?

I am going with a pro touring look but I am a bit confused on lowering my 77 2" all around. I see lowering spring kits are for the front of the car. Do they make lowering springs for the back? Or do you just lower the car with the leaf springs to drop the back of the car?

Maybe try air shocks for the back?

You can buy lowering leaf springs to lower the back.Like 77nomad said check out protouringf-body,or hotchkis also sells them, but you will get better service from protouringf-body,i bought my solid body bushing kit from them and planning on a few other parts and they are very helpful if you have any questions on thier parts.

Not sure if they're still on sale, but I bought 2" lowering springs from Summit this fall for $85 a pair. Hard to beat that price.

Good point Val. PTFB doesn't sell there stuff in like 1" of 2" drops, there site says this is because they can't predict what your car weighs. IE; aluminum heads or fiberglass hoods. There GT kits is good for around 2" on a typical car. For what its worth, PTFB sells Landrum springs in there kit. $131 on there web site. http://www.landrumspring.com/pages/l...7&pagenumber=1

I just purchased a brand new set of Hotchkins 2" drop springs off of craigslist.

Will the summit 2" drop leaf springs bring the rear end lower with stock springs?

Anyone know of a good cheap shock the will ride good on the drop springs?

Edelbrock IAS. Just a word of warning, if you install your new springs and feel like man that didn't lower it at all. Its because most of our cars have sagging springs by now and are already lower than when they were new.
