I have a 1979 Berlinetta 350 with automatic tranny. And its leaking from somewhere near the front pump seal... which i already replaced. Any ideas what i should try next?

Also, after i put it all back together, it has never shifted correctly... I always need to shift down to either S (super) or L (low) to get it into Drive for freeway speeds or higher.

Is the front pump bolted in decently?
