My daughter has a 79 Camaro. Sometimes you need to give the steering column a twist in order to turn the key back. Is there an adjustment that canbe made to remedy this problem?

yes there is. the linkage that goes over the exhaust system. it goes over the exhaust and touches the frame. there is a nut. losen it and slide the rod that goes up to the colum up or down depending on where it needs to go.
