is there anyway neone can think of to put a hood on by your self. everyone who says they will help me keep not showin or they dont wanna help...im sick of it!!!!! i doubt there is a way but id like to know of one!!!

 

I did mine by myself, or do you mean a steel one....I did that as well, but get someone or prepare to chip and scratch some paint.

 

I did a crew cab using a cherry picker hooked to the front of the hood once...was still a pain inthe butt..

I guess you could use a tie down strap to the ceiling and hope you don't hit the windshiled..

the one and only time I tried, it cost me a windsheild...

so i would say get some help.

 

I was strong enough to manhandle the hood but one slight move and it will easily cost a windsheild. It only takes a few seconds of time to do with help, if you have to take the hood right out to the car and ask a stranger to help you get it up there till you can put the bolts in enough to hold the hood in place. i got lucky the first time and it was verry hard to do.

 

if a steel hood then nope. fiberglass yea u can.

 

Can tell you haven't been around the block. Your just not thinking straight.

1. Go to where your pals are goofing off.

2. Ok now start complaining about your cousin coming to stay at your place, you know the one thats a 'stripper' (wink wink.....nod nod), and that shes throwing all her underclothes in your bathroom and it looks like a Victoria secret yard sale.

3. Now when 50 guys show up at your place, just tell them she ran up to the tanning salon, but your supposed to pick her up......but dang you need to get this hood back on.....
