Even if there was only one b.b. Z/28 that you ever saw, it would be more than GM made. 1st gen Z/28's only came with a s.b. 302.

Thanks Guys.
Awesome advise. I looked at the valance and bumper from underneath the car. The bumper is notched so it doesn't his the RS lights. The calance used to have rectangular holes which have been closed to put the round RS lights in.
I think I'll leave the lights but might do something about the bumper.

I guess if you get in touch with the right person you'll get things done right.

I must be wearing orthopedic shoes because I stand corrected. Really I didn't know that but I always see them so I thought they were real. Understand that my car and myself are about the same age. The good ole days for me happened in the 90's.

Good one 77nomad! Same thing for small block Z28's too. There's more 1st gen Camaros badged as Z28's than Chevy ever produced! Then there's the Yenko clones, and the Baldwin clones, and the Nickey clones, and......
I sure understand the clones though, as most are getting so expensive that the only way to own one was too buy or build a clone! Which reminds me! When I bought my '71 in 1973 it had stickers in the side windows that read, "Yenko Tuned, Cannonsburg, PA." I sorta chuckled knowing it couldn't be a Yenko, but I left them there. After nearly 40 years they are still there, and nobody has ever mentioned them or called me on it I believe because they look so weathered they're not sure what to make of them!
