Default Camaro 1972

Thanks .
I'll get more pics soon. I sent it out to get inspection ready so I can get all the paper work and insurance done next week.
To be honest I have no clue exactly what type of Camaro it is. RS?? SS??Z28??
The thing that puzzles me the most are the small round parking lights that are below the bumper. I see round small parking lights but they are all above the bumper next to the head lights. The parking lights that are below the bumper are all rectangular.
Sorry if this is a lame observation but...I just don't know.
The Vin says that it is a 72 and has a 350 (which is correct) also that it is the 162578th car made in Norwood, Ohio but can't get much more then that.
It has been modified with a tremec T-10 4 speed and also has disk brakes in the back.
I would really like to know what the heck it is...lol
Thanks for the help.
JR

That's not factory, somebody replaced the original rectangle marker lights and put those RS ones in there.
They must have wanted to "personalize" their car, you know the type!

Default Hello

It has to be. Where can I see a Camaro with the lights that I have.
I did see the Vin decoding sites but still don't know if I have an RS or what?
The Vin is 1Q87D2N162578.
The parking lights are bugging the hell out of me. I want to see a camaro with those round lights mounted below the bumper.
Or are you saying none exist?
Thanks.
JR
Hey Camaro 69...I love your car.
Long, long time ago I had a 68 convertible. Just the thought that I about gave that car away is killing me.
I feel like shooting myself....lol
Should have kept it.

Hi Joe,
Just took a look at your project.
Man , you must have a ton of patience.
I bought mine in awesome shape. All I'm going to do is replace all interior carpets and seats and smaller stuff that needs fixing.
Other then that I keep toying with the idea to either turbo charge the car or super charge it. I love the sound the turbo blow off valves make but cherish not having allot of heat underneath the hood.
Guess I could place a turbo in the back...lol
