Default Gear Swap

Does anyone know if a set of gears from a 1990 rear end will fit a 1976 rear end. The 76 is supposed to be what is called a corporate set up. The gear ratio in the 76 is a 4.56 : 1 and I have a set of 3.73 : 1 in the 1990. The gears and all are new in the 90 is one of the resaons for the swap. With the trans I plan on running the 3.73 : 1 ratio I believe will give me the best performance with how I want to use the car. Any input is great. Thanks readers,
CCR

I don't believe so, the 76 is a 10 bolt 8.5" while the 1990 I BELIEVE is a smaller ring. I think it is an 8.5
