I purchased a '81 Z28 and was having the exhaust replaced on it. I was told that due to a sway bar beingin the way that true dual exhaust could not be run out the back of the car. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, what did you do with the exhaust?

I have never heard of that. My exhaust comes out right before the back tires, nice way to scare cars next to you when youslam on the gas

 

I got whats left of dual galsspacks with rusty tailpipes out the back end up and over the rear axle and sway bar...been that way for 20 years...at least.

 

i had mine all put in w/oany problemsand it comes straight out the back like stock wouldve...but if you look up under the car it like goes over the rear and then through the leafsprings kinda then out
