Default 89 RS camaro dual exhaust...

Alright, i got a 1989 RS camaro with a 305 v8, sad to admit that the exhaust is... quite pathetic. It has two manifolds, one pipe, one catalatyc converter, one muffler, and two tail pipes. Its what you would call a "cross over exhaust". I would like to put a true dual exhaust in this with headers, however the only problem that stands is that the car is so low to the ground and the way it is set up im not sure if there would be enough room for two mufflers. Im worried that if i hit a bump ill ruin my exhaust. If anyone has converted a cross over exhaust into a true dual exhaust in a similar car, could you help me out here? Let me know if i can convert it to a true dual exhaust. Thanks.

How much ground clearance you got? You can use a set of Hushpower mufflers from Flowmaster. They are smaller than the standard mufflers.

You have a stock factory exhaust system. A dual systems is not worth it.
