Drive train set up questions. Please help!

yep thats the way to be. do what you can with what you have and work from there. i have about 9k into the motor drive train on mine so far.

That works too. Then toss a set of good heads on it later. Just don't over cam it in anticapation of new heads. You won't be as happy.

And you cant put heads on it that the engine can't turn enough to use them!
