Default control arm studs

does anyone know where i can get the studs that the control arm shaft is bolted to? npd and classic industries only has them listed for the 67-69 and the 70-73 models. i thought all these cars had an identical front end. so im not sure what i should do. i looked everywhere for these stupid things. any help would be great. thanks

Did you ruin the old ones? Otherwise, you don't need to replace them. Are they a straight shank bolt, or is the shank knurled or stepped up (larger diameter) near the head? If they're more like a regular straight bolt, you can get those at your local hardware store. Look at the top of the head for the markings to see what grade your bolts are. Three marks is grade 5. Five marks is grade 8. Keep them the same as what the original ones are.

yeah i know about graded bolts ( im a technology teacher) haha. these are pressed in though and have the lips ( not sure the correct term) just like a wheel stud. where it sits in the frame. and i just wanted nice new clean ones. mine are all rusted. very usable just would prefer to use new stuff because the rest is brand new. but thanks again for the help camaro69 always helpful talk to you later.

Hmmm...OK. Note to self.....Bandit is a technology teacher. I'll make a note of it for next time!
Wasn't trying to dumb it down, just didn't know what you do or don't know.
The knurled shank (like a wheel stud) is what I was describing before.
If the threads aren't damaged, taking them to the wire wheel will make them almost "like new". Oops....you probably know that too!!!
