I'm also between Professional Products Powerjection III and the MSD Atomic EFI. I think I'm going to go with the PPPIII because I know two guys that have them and they seem to be running great and they are happy with them (one of them is a parts store manager ((I dont mean one of thoes punch it into the computer guys parts guys, more of a been there done that kind of guy)) and my best friend so his word carries alot of weight when it comes to auto imput for me). I am now at a point where I dont want to mess with a carb anymore, I want to get in and go and enjoy my car. No messing with cold weather adjustments or super 100+ degree temps any more for me, just start and go! Be sure to let us know what you went with....and to anwser your question I do believe the PPPIII does use a laptop for adjustments but is is self learning so you should not neet to many adjustments.
