May want to check the fuel pickup inside the tank, or fuel running low.

What kinda carb? Your float level could be set too low.

I have a full tank of gas. i checked the fuel pump and its working fine. i have a Rochester Quadrajet Carb. i was able to get it started and warmed up. I drove it around the block a few times and then it just died again. it seems that it dies when the car is warmed up. any ideas? how can i check the float level or adjust it?

Also check for the fuel filter on the carb. It's usually a sintered bronze type, and it's located in the body when you remove the fuel inlet fitting. If you now have an in-line filter, you can leave that carb filter out. Don't horse that fitting back on either, it's easy to strip the fine threads on the carb.

Yesterday I started my car and the Carb was making a popping noise. Does any one know if its difficult to rebuild a carb? is it better to rebuild or buy new?

Very few people know how to rebuild a qjet. There are a ton of problems with the design. With that being said, carbs don't make any noise. Good or bad. The popping could be back fire or a sticking intake valve. Back fire is probably timing (not sure) and the valve is self explanatory. Its hard to give tuning advice.
