hey guys. i just put a holley dominator on my car. but withe the adaptor and the air filter on i cannot close the dang hood. does anyone have any segestions at all????? also about linkages? its a little different than what im used to. haha. anyways let me know and ill try to get some pics up tonight.

 

Same problem when I put the NOS on friday... You have a few options, one, you can losen the rear bolts on the brackets and lift up about half inch, that will make enough room for you to close it, and wont pull the front away from the nose, but it will look stupid... two, you can take off the hood...thats what I did, three you have to get a smaller air filter, I have a 3 by 14 inch on mine, and Id have to goto a 2 inch tall filter. Or get a bigger cowl hood...

 

at this point i wouldnt mind getting a smaller air cleaner. but they dont make them for the dominator. unless some one knows of one

 

I don't have hood clearance issues! But, do you have a dropped base air cleaner now?
