Default Need a new carb Eldelbrock or holly

I am think of putting on a new carb so I thought I would ask to see what everyone would say is better Holly or Eldelbrock. I have a holly on there now and I am having a issues with it. It seem like it does not want to adjust. i have tried and tried but the only thing that seems to adjust is the curb idle screw. The two inlet screws seems not to adjust. I know i am running way to rich.

You are probably going to get alot of different opinions on this subject, but.... I think you are going to find that generally, If you want to use the car as a daily driver, or just for cruising around, Edelbrock is the way to go. If you want to race it, or go to the track alot, Holley Is better. My own experience..Holleys need adjusting too often. I have Edelbrocks on my 2 older cars, and after installing, Havent touched them, very consistant and reliable, but I dont race the cars either. Hope this helps.

That does help. I plan on driving it around here and there. I am not going to race it.
