Default A/C System Problems >>>>

Can someone tell me what I need to do? I Really Want Cold AC.

Car: 1979 Chevrolet Camaro
AC/Heater Fuse: Brand New and Correct Fuse
Accumulator: R12 Vacuumed out, Retrofitted for R134A
Hoses: Hooked Up Properly
Compressor: Will Not Engage. Out Of Oil Maybe??? Will Adding Oil To It Make It Work?

The Compressor will spin when i hook the plug up to a tester. But it does not engage when it is plugged up, the ac is turned on to the max.

What Do I Need To Do To Fix My AC Problems??

Did you add the oil charge when the retrofit was done?If not then that may be the problem,i dont know much about a/c units, but i know there is an oil charge that gets added when you add the refridgerant.
