I purchased a new exhaust system for my sons camaro and after I installed it am having a problem. I routed the end peice through the leaf spring space and now when you sit in the car thew tailpipe hits the spring when it's compressed. have any of you had the same problem, and what was your fix?

 

Have someone sit in the car while you adjust the exhaust system hangers and clamps. Or set the adjustment slightly higher away from the springs when hanging, so when they are compressed it wont hit.

 

I have the Summit 2.5 inch exhaust and it took several adjustments before mine was right.

 

I went through the same thing with my 2.5" jegs exhaust,i had to loosen and adjust about 5 different times to get it good haha.
