best spark plugs for a 1974
i am a new owner of a 1974 Camaro with a Jasper 300hp 350 with long tube headers. Which spark plugs are the best? i saw a review video that stated that the Accel shortys were not good, only last 2000 miles. He recommended a Autolite.

Heat range and gap are more important then maker unless this thing has some type of specials ignition or fuel injection system. I have always been a fan of AC delcos. Getting the proper heat range and gap ends up being trial and error unless you have the motor dyno tuned. To get that right you really need to know how to read plug. Just a basic set of boxed AC delcos are can work for 80,000 miles is a standard HEI type ignition. (Under 40,000 volts). If you ignition system is over 40K find out the manufactures recommendation for plug, They will need your compression ratio.
