Default Autometer Fuel gauge help

More often than not the ground is the culprit.

actually found out the wires were switched on my stock harness, which also explains why my tach wasnt working when i bought the car. found the right fuel sender wire and it works

GM Torque Strap question: In order to race at an NHRA track, we needed to have some sort of backup torque strap ( to keep the engine from jumpin out of the car if a mount should break). We are running Energy Suspension polyurathane engine mount inserts. Guess that isn't enough, recently aquired a 2nd Gen. chevelle torque strap, which I hear was a quick fix recall deal back in the day. Does anyone have a picture of one of these installed? or anyone old enough to remember these? It has an aircraft wire that goes around the upper control arm and a bracket that goes to the exhaust manifold, with our headers, it doesn't seem to want to line up with anything, Any ideas gang? any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bob

Bob, a little advice. When you have a question you should start your own thread. What you are doing by interrupting this thread is referred to as "high jacking". Your taking attention away from the original subject.

Wow talk about off topic. I would use a chain from the head to the subframe, anyway. Carry on.
