ok on my recent trip to the junk yard they got 2 more camaros and both had aftermarket gauges

i got a set of sunpro gauges. oil press wat temp batt
and a set of autometer oil pressure wat temp batt fuel and tach

now the fuel gauge has 3 hook ups labeled s - and +
is s sending unit? and as for the + do i hook that to the batt then the neg to a ground?
