Thanks BM! Sorry you sold them; sure didn't want to make you feel even worse about letting them go!

That sounds awsome!
That was an entire exhaust kit from Summit, right? Did you go with the ceramic coated headers, or the regular kit.
Now that I've heard it, it's going on my buy list.
I found out my car has a sb 400 in it (not the factory 305), the interesting part is, it still has the cat and stock exhaust. So, new exhaust system definitely in order. I really like the way yours sounds.

Thanks Rosky69!
I've had the same Doug Thorley $59 headers on my Camaro since 1975! They still work, and have only had new gaskets when I did a valve job in 1980, and when I rebuilt the engine in 1999-2000. So they were just painted satin black, no coating.
This is the Summit brand header back complete exhaust they sell as a kit. Complete with mufflers, pipes and hangers for $199. No X pipe, just duals all the way back, which I like better because they sound better to my ears.

Hey, its good to see another summit lover around here. Im not sure if you got your seat situation resolved, but i just thought Id put in another recommendation for the summit seats. Ive actually been to the Talmadge store about 3 times in the past few months. That place is absolutely AMAZING. Anyway, Im also looking into redoing my interior, and everytime I go there, I have to test out the seats. Ive gotta say, the summit seats not only look better, but are more comfortable, in my opinion, than the procars. they are basically the same seat with 5 pt. holes and all, but in some pretty nice pleather. Plus they come with rails for $150 a seat.

Once again, just my input, but im probably going to put them in my car eventually. The current interior is that terrible white "custom cloth" stuff which, for a "luxury edition" looks alot worse than black vinyl to me. haha

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Summit Racing. Started out back in 1999 when I bought the engine kit for the rebuild of my 427, and been buying things for the Camaro ever since. I'd have to check my big envelope full of receipts to know for sure how many thousands I've spent there!

No mine is the jegs brand, but they are both the same exact setup.I usually buy most of my stuff from jegs just because their store is only a 5 minute drive from me so i dont have to pay shipping, although i did buy a part from summit yesterday and i have to say their customer service is amazing and they shipped it out less than an hour after i ordered it,and the fact that i got it today, just 1 day from when i ordered it,i will definitely be buying from them again, plus i got a discount for $20 off my next $100 purchase so guess where my next order is coming from haha,
