It probable went like this. The girl a someone's insurance company made a typo. Then without looking at any of the real documentation the person at the
just copied whatever was on the insurance paperwork. At least thats how it went with mine. Exept the girl at the DMV was sharp and caught the typo and said to go and get it fixed. Weird huh?

It's probably been entered wrong from day 1 at the dealer. Someone at DMV or the dealership messed up. I doubt you'll have any issues, since it's all matching otherwise. I'd just call DMV and ask what to do to get it corrected. Most have inspectors that will look to see it's not altered and then just correct the title.
