Default '71 SS350 Manual Swap

I'd like to swap in a 4spd manual transmission. The car currently has it's factory auto (T350 I believe).

I'd like to know all the parts I'll need and what the conversion entails. I'll most likely get it done professionally but I'm more concerned with what cutting/welding is involved (i.e. the peddals). I'd like the car to be able to be converted back to original in the future if possible.

I'd like to find the parts quick as the car is shipping out next week and I'd like to save myself the shipping cost by sticking them in the boot if possible. Not being in the US, buying a donor car is not an option.

Thanks for any help

You'll need the pedal assembly, the Z bar assembly, clutch fork and adjusting rod, bellhousing, pressure plate, clutch, flywheel, pilot bushing, shift linkage, tranny, and possibly a driveline yoke depending on what tranny you use. I think that's everything?
It will need the bracket welded to the frame to mount the Z bar, but everything under the dash is bolt on.

I once converted a previous 69 from automatic to manual, and the z bar frame bracket bolted on. Do the 2nd gen's not bolt on?
I ask, because the pedal assembly and all related clutch hardware I used came from a 1970.

Yeah the bracket will bolt right up. No welding required. I think Vall is thinking of one of probably a hundred other projects he's touched in his Looooooong life. LOL

Yup the bracket comes with the Zbar kit from Tamaraz. Tamaraz has most of everything on the list. Minus the tranny, bellhousing, flywheel and yoke. You'll need the hump for the trans tunnel if you plan on a console. Tamaraz has it too. You can use self drilling screws and seam sealer to hold it down, then it will come out easily if you want.

Friggin BOOT. Brits, lol.

Australian.

Thanks folks, ordered some parts. Found a conversion kit to make things easier; just need the actual trans now. And a clutch but I can get that here.

You actually wont need the trans tunnel hump unless you just want it to look like a factory installation.
