383 stroker time! help needed

well like I said, budget is key here, and my cousin would teach me and help me build my engine for free, but at the same time, that crate is a good price, but I also want to build one so I know how to do it and so that I can learn more about it. getting a one piece is also another route I could take, but I believe aftermarket parts are more expensive? I still cant make up my mind! haha

yes it a hard choise I helped a guy build a 302 years ago ,an its been so long pretty much for got ,if labor is free that helps for building an engine though,but yes having someone build one for you over a crate engine ,much cheaper to go with a crate,then saying I built this with my 2 hands is a great feeling too,certain thing I can do others I leave up to pros ,like a crate engine I am sure I could do with my friend now an save time an money ,but if your just building the top of the engine with the long block all intact that should be just fine

hmm well its good to know that I have options, being a noob, I'm like a sponge, and I'm just trying to absorb the information you guys are throwing at me hahaha, but yeah Ive got some time to research and save up, and an ls7 would be badass
