Hello. My name is Andre and I live in the Austin area. I just recently picked up a 52 Chevy 3100 truck and supposedly the truck has a Camaro front clip. I have no idea how to tell if this is true or not so I am asking the Camaro experts for help. I am planning on adding power steering but I need to know the year before I can order the parts. I snapped some pics and I am hopeful someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

may have to take one of the calipers off and see if the guys at the parts store can match it up. looks like 70 or in that area.

 

Second generation, 70-81, Camaro.
These subframes are always used because of disc brakes, power steering, if equipped, and steering in front of cross member making oil pan clearance easier.
And V8 mounting brackets
