200r4 Trans from s10

Would a 200r4 from an 85 s10 fit in my 76? Someone locally is pretty much giving it away, so i figured if i could get it cheap or free, then i have a new OD tranny to have rebuilt and ready when i start reassembly.

no it wont bolt up 2.8 had diffrent bolt pattern than a sb chevy.maybe u could use adapter though
