1975-1981 Camaros - Sports cars?
Inspired by the other thread, which I thought provided some interesting takes on the classification of the late second gen Camaro. This is of particular interest to me since I own one.
Some have made the case for or againstdefining the late second gen Camaro as a muscle car, but let us now discuss defining it as a sports car.
To start off here is my own somewhat uneducated speculation: I think it's fair to class it as a "strong sports car"...Due to it's wide availability, heavy weight, yet superior handling and less vicious engine factory options. Defining it as a pony is a given.

Id say the any camaro is a strong sports car, as they put performance and general driveability over gas mileage and grocery capacity, unlike most of themuscle cars the big three aretrying to bring back now.
I thought being a pony car was a given due to it's traditionally Mustang-esque dimensions, and that seperately it could be designated a muscle or a sports.
