Hi - I'm looking to buy a 1970 Z28. It's being sold as an original engine car, but the stamp pad is missing the vin code. All the other dates match up, but I've not seen a stamp that has the car ID missing. Did this ever happen? I've included a pic of the pad as well. Appreciate any help here.

CTC matches for a Z28.

Look for the VIN on the drivers side of the block on a vertical pad, above the oil filter area.

 

I bought a new 1970 Z28. Mine had CTB (manual trans). CTC would be auto trans.
