70 RS Camaro steering alignment column problem headache
my 70 camaro has some agnonizing issues as the horn keeps blowing when i make a right or left turn i have had the column replaced year specific rebuilt OEM tilt put it and the wheel is straight in the park position and when you start to speed up the wheel when driving straight is at the 10 o'clock position as if the car is off on alignment or the mechanic didn't line up the steering wheel properly. The shop mechanic did take 2 hrs to install the column and was making comments as if it was kicking his tail -- i did have the car aligned at a different shop and it doesn't pull to the right or left when driving ..
I thought about checking the alignment out at yet a 3rd shop now which is talking uop charging for the additional shims if it needs it etc just don't know if its a column issue and the wheel is off or an alignment or a gear box just feels like play is in the works which is why im leaning towards the gear box any advice ?
its annoying driving with the wheel off a bit thank you

i had an alignment done and the car is off
left camber 0.6 is green right hand camber -0.1 red
left caster 0.3 is green right caster -1.5 red
tow 0.21 is green tow right side is green
Front total toe 0.42 green
steer ahead 0.00 green
Right hand side front passenger side is the problem -- the lower polyurethane bushing is coming out of its sleeve - may need a another control arm and ball joint is what the shop is stating but i have no idea of knowing as i know nothing about suspension at all just know the steering wheel is off a bit and there is play as the steering wheel gear box is a little loose and needs to be tighten -- the car steering wheel is at the 12 o'clock correct until you hit the rd and speed up then there is a little play that causes it go to about the 11 o'clock position .. its obvious im a novice i just dont want to be taken by a shop i already paid out 700 to have inner/ outer tie rods replaced the center link replaced but no bushings or the control arm i think the idle arm was replaced ,,, by the printout it looks like i just need the right side done?

If my Camaro, I would turn the wheel one full turn in a direction, , loosen lockut on top of gearbox, tighten Allen setscrew gently, back off 10°, tighten locknut.
Ensure with new idler arm, center link is still parallel to frame.
center link, idler arm, Pitman arm as these items with frame, make a parallelogram .
This shape is needed for proper wear pattern during a turn.
I would fix camber as this adjustment is for the crown in the road, right side should have more camber.
Adjust caster to 2° both sides as this adjustment keeps car straight.
I think total toe is too much, maybe 0.12-0.15 inches? Check preferred specs.
On a cold morning, adjust tire pressure to 32-36 PSI.
